No, we don’t mean that you need to start a basketball team on your road trip. However, having a frisbee, a football, or even a baseball bat and ball can be great for those days when you want to stretch your legs and enjoy the great outdoors at the same time.
Buy a pass
Perhaps you want to head through a national park or two along the way? Some require passes before you are allowed to drive through or stop for the night. To top it off, they can sometimes be cheaper if you buy them online before you go.
Be open-minded
It’s great to know where you want to go and what you want to see, but that doesn’t mean that you have to stick to the plan word for word. If you see something that looks fun or learn about a new attraction along the way, now’s your chance to go and check them out!
