Here’s a surfboard that purports to be $100 on sale. That’s great! It went from $229.95 to $199. Hmm, that’s the smallest $100 that we’ve ever seen! Do you think that stores do this thinking that the shoppers are dumb enough to not double check the math?
We have a hard time believing that someone in charge of sales at a store would make a mistake this big on accident. It’s so obvious that $100 off of $229.95 isn’t $199 that we are only left to assume that this is either a malicious sales tactic or a joke.
