You know, you would think that news agencies would really have a handle on basic things like which numbers exist or not. They have to report on exact temperatures every single day, and numbers factor into most news stories that make it onto TV. So how is it, exactly, that a number that isn’t even real could make its way onto a TV news broadcast?
We’re assuming that this is some kind of computer error, but if not, somebody needs to be fired for thinking that -0 is a number. 0 isn’t positive or negative! It’s 0! That’s the point!
