[post_page_title]Stairs built In 1829 and 2005[/post_page_title]
Life in big city centers bring many challenges, and one of them is about how to honor history and preserve the existing architecture and monuments, while at the same time keeping up with the evolving time and the new needs of the population.
Here’s a cool example of how to do both. This original set of stairs was built in 1829, and it was in dire need of renovation. They didn’t want to “erase” the whole thing, so they kept half of it as it was, and only renovated the other side, in 2005. We love the effect!
