On August 15, 1969, a young woman named Judy was driving to Woodstock when her car broke down, and she and the two friends she was traveling with were forced to hitchhike to the festival. A car stopped to give them a ride, and inside it was a man named Jerry, who was also with friends.
That was the start of Judy and Jerry’s love story, and it has been going strong for 50 years. The top photo shows them at Woodstock, 48 hours after meeting for the first time, and the bottom photo shows them now.
