We sort of feel bad for Jared Leto. He had some pretty big clown shoes to fill. It’s hard to match the amazing charisma of Jack Nicholson’s Joker or the dark energy of Heath Ledger’s version of the title character.
Nevertheless, Jared Leto somehow managed to miss the mark. Perhaps it was the script working against him, since we’re sure he gave it his all. Still, this tweet definitely didn’t age well, as all we all now know. There will be a sequel, so let’s just all cross our fingers for him this time, okay?
