We’re kinda conflicted about the whole “corporations using social media” thing. On one hand, we get amazing social media campaigns like the one they have Wendy’s. We wouldn’t trade that for the world. But on the other hand, we get pithy tweets like this. We don’t need you to tell us how great 2020 is gonna be, Target! Just let us shop!
We don’t really think we need to go into why this tweet aged poorly, as we have already more than covered it. In hindsight, this kind of optimism makes us feel quite grumpy. Sorta like Grumpy Cat.
