Fanbases can definitely get a little bit excitable when it comes to sequels to their favorite movies. Take the Spiderman franchise, for instance. Everyone was so super hyped up about the fourth movie in this installation, and when it was announced that it would finally be released in May of 2011, the excitement was tangible.
As it turned out, though, this movie would never see the light of day. For reasons unknown, the epic film was cancelled before it even started, and fans will have to continue to wait for this much anticipated sequel.
