The handles on these school doors highlight how many more people use their right hands compared to those who use their left. While it’s more common to be right-handed, there are still clearly plenty of people at this school who predominantly use their left hands.
Over the years, the students and teachers have worn down the metal on the handles just by opening these doors. The handles either show a larger number of right-handed people, or it proves that left-handed people have smaller thumbs.
