These are two candles, but they appear to be burning very differently. The candle on the left is just a regular candle that’s burning on Earth as normal. The flame on the right is from a candle that is subjected to microgravity onboard the International Space Station.
There is a huge difference in the way the flame burns in space, not only in its shape but also the color. Microgravity is the condition that leaves objects and people appearing to be weightless.
