If you’ve ever walked around ski resorts during the off-season, you’ve probably wondered all the signs are so darn tall. This photo should provide you with a pretty good answer. To have good snow sports, there needs to be a lot of snow…like, feet upon feet of snow. If they didn’t make the signs so tall, they would be covered by the time that winter rolled around!
It’s pretty remarkable to see such a drastic change in scenery between the seasons in these photos, but hey, that’s life in the mountains.
