You know that feeling you get when you’re watching a nature documentary about penguins and it suddenly starts talking about climate change? Yeah. Day ruined. That’s basically exactly what this photo is demonstrating, but the difference is made even more stark by the fact that these two photos were taken in the exact same place. The only change between them is a few decades of time.
You can see that they are indeed in the same spot by looking at the mountains in the background, which match up perfectly. It’s a sad sight to see.
