Do you remember how people used to sleep in cartoons? They would lie perfectly still and silent on their backs, not moving an inch. This just isn’t realistic. There’s a reason why you sometimes wake up in a completely different position than where you started. We all move around quite a bit while we sleep, especially if we are feeling restless.
And it’s not just humans…animals do it too. This comparison between the start and end of nap time of a man and his dog shows this perfectly. They look cozy with each other!
