This one isn’t exactly a mystery, but if you were born after the 2000’s, it might confuse you. On first impression, it looks just like a bunch of marbles. Of course, lots of people actually used them, so we can see why this would confuse them.
Turns out that this is actually a marvelous solitaire game, also known as a peg solitaire. Apparently, instead of using cards, people used this version of the game. Must be a fun way to pass the time.
