How would you feel if you flipped the switch on the back of an old clock, which was labeled “miracle eye”? We can completely understand how this would have confused the original poster, especially because it sounds like something from a movie.
As they would quickly discover, it is actually a light sensor that can be turned on and off. When it is on, the clock won’t make any sounds — unless it detects any light. This is to ensure that it does not wake people up during the night. How cool is that?
