As technology evolves, there are plenty of everyday items that might become history in just a few years from now. That’s why it’s especially interesting to find items showing how people in olden days performed everyday tasks.
Take this fine china cupboard that this original poster found as he was going through his family‘s stuff. Turns out it is a shaving scuttle that is used to keep soap leather warm so that it can be used multiple times. Instead of being weird, this is just vintage cool.
