You know the feeling of cutting open some produce and seeing that it doesn’t look how you expected it to? Yeah, that’s a bad one. Whether it’s too ripe or not ripe enough, you then have to deal with the fact that you now have to eat (or throw away) a piece of produce that isn’t what you wanted. How sad.
That’s what happened to this person who discovered that their sweet potatoes were filled with holes! But this isn’t from a bug infestation. Apparently this just happens when sweet potatoes are stored in hot temperatures. Huh. Weird.
