Doug Funnie has a lot of good friends, and among the most unlikely ones is his neighbor, Mr. Dink (though some might argue he was more of a mentor figure than a friend).
So, we were today years old when we realized that Mr. Dink’s last name has a meaning – it stands for “Double Income No Kids,” a term used to describe a couple that lives together, each one with their own income, but without children. That explains why the character has enough money to always buy new gadgets that are “very expensive.”
