[post_page_title]Refusing to work on 4th of July[/post_page_title]
One guy came in July 3rd and said he couldn’t work the following day, even though it was his turn to work a holiday. He was super mad about having to work on 4th of July (I had worked Thanksgiving and Christmas both, for reference). He explained he already had plans, and basically just expected me to cover for him, since I’m the manager.
If he had asked politely in advance, I would have been happy to try to accommodate him. But with that attitude, he got himself fired instead.
