I managed a bookstore, and during the holidays we also had a calendar kiosk open. I hired a new girl to sell the calendars, and on her first day a customer came into the bookstore and said no one was in the kiosk.
I went over and saw half the calendars had been stolen, and the new girl was asleep behind the tarps that hid the extra stock. Livid, I woke her up and told her she was fired. She then got angry at me, since she didn’t think she had done anything wrong.
