In a restaurant I used to work in, we had a chef who warmed up chicken in the oven with the plastic still wrapped around it (don’t ask me how he got hired without having basic cooking skills, or common sense).
It took a while for the rest of us to even notice. And by the time we caught on and fired him, he had already done it for a few days and the food had been served (but luckily for us – no lawsuits).
