Out of all the weird employees I’ve had that I’ve had to fire, this guy takes the cake for most ridiculous reason. I fired him when he said he couldn’t come to work because it was raining, and he had just washed his car the day before…
I’m not sure who taught this kid work ethics. But apparently he didn’t realize rain (not a hurricane – rain) is not a valid excuse to miss work. And especially not when you admit it’s because of your precious car.
