This pawnshop I was managing had an employee stealing $400, before realizing there were security cameras all over the store – including right above the cash register. Since he didn’t know where the security footage was stored, he apparently panicked and set the whole store on fire to cover his tracks.
He actually got pretty injured in the process, and had to go to the hospital. Soon after, he went to jail (he was of course also fired, that goes without saying).
