It was pretty confusing for DC fans when, in the beginning of Suicide Squad, Margot Robbie was sitting behind bars and sipping espresso with her hair already done in pink and blue. In the comics, Harley Quinn is meant to have “prison hair”, since she hasn’t exactly had time to visit the salon.
The producers explained her hair generated colors because of the chemical accident she had, but fans didn’t really buy into it. Either way, Harley’s introduction scene was much better due to this mistake – as she made one heck of a first impression.
