DC’s Captain Marvel is a fascinating character – it’s the only superhero who’s actually a kid in real-life. So, when Zachary Levi was cast as Captain Marvel in Shazam, he could really have some fun. True to form, one scene shows the teenaged superhero impersonating his own dad to get him and his friend out of school.
Caught by the school’s security guard, he fumbles through an excuse and concludes by saying, “Thank you so much, Detective Moron.” The guard is a. not a detective and b. actually named Moran, after the costume’s designer. Unsurprisingly, the line was all Levi.
