While Ant-Man and the Wasp is full of funny moments, its funniest actor’s barely in the movie. Playing whale boat captain Daniel Gooobler (yes, three Os) is Tim Heidecker, of the Tim and Eric comedy duo. Apparently, roughly 0.1% of Heidecker’s lines – all improvised – made it into the final movie.
But wait, there’s more – Heidecker does a satirical show called On Cinema with Gregg Turkington, who played Scott’s Baskin-Robbins manager in Ant-Man. The two are locked in a weird competition to see who can appear in more Marvel movies. Tim’s in the lead for now, having also appeared in the non-MCU Fantastic Four reboot.
