Joker shows the descend of unstable Arthur Fleck into madness, and Joaquin Phoenix does an incredible job portraying the complex character. In one scene in particular, he decided to go all out on the madness part.
Arthur, who is raging, starts throwing things about, then opening the fridge and emptying it – only to climb inside and close the door behind him. Everyone was baffled on set, but they let him do his thing – and fans loved the scene.
