Doctor Strange is one of the more spiritual Marvel movies, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be funny just like the rest of them. When talented actor Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays Stephen Strange in the Marvel films, shot this scene with Benedict Wong, he let something slip that wasn’t in the script.
When Wong tells him he isn’t ready for astral projection, he was supposed to say “try me”, but instead added a “Beyonce” – as a reference to her song lyrics, “I don’t think you’re ready for this jelly.” This ended up in the film, and we’re super glad it did.
